I had a great time there. I ordered jambalaya, and there was a large serving, with some very good cornbread. I asked for hot sauce, and they had several to choose from. The rest of our group (including a 2 year old boy) also had a good experience. The staff was very attentive. I DEFINITELY plan to go back when I'm in the Cincinnati area.

HIGHLY recommend eating here if you enjoy cajun food. We ate a ton of food and enjoyed all of it. I enjoyed the Bloody Mary, it was very flavorful and delicious. The selection of hot sauces is a wide range and superb. We had the half serving of the buffalo chicken quesadilla with veggies. It was VERY good. Crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. The jalapeno cream sauce complimented it well. The Mardi Gras Pasta with shrimp was amazing! Ate every last bite of it. Hubby had the Mardi Dog and was slow to share a taste as he was enjoying it so much. The cajun fries were well seasoned. We prefer fries on the crisper side but we still enjoyed them. The dirty rice was exactly what I was hoping for. The sausage mixed in was perfect with the rice. For Dessert we had the bread pudding with bourbon sauce and it was delectable. Soft, sweet, and perfect. We enjoyed every crumb. I generally am not a fan of bread pudding but I ensured I got my share as it was so wonderful. I definitely recommend it if you are a bourbon fan as there is a very strong bourbon flavor to it.

Took my wife, our kids and extended family to Allyn's for my wife's birthday tonight. Hadn't been here in maybe 25 years. What a wonderful time we had and awesome food/service. The jambalaya was really, really good. Our server said he was somewhat new, but he was great, took good care of us. Not sure why we haven't been in so long, but we'll be back sooner next time.

Paired with Cajun fries, it’s a perfect dish for anyone looking for a spicy, satisfying vegan option. 3. Fried Fish with Mac and Cheese & Brussels Sprouts – The fried fish was golden and crispy, while the inside stayed moist and tender. I recently made a trip to Allyn’s Café and was reminded just how good it is! Our server was attentive and friendly, and the menu had a great mix of classic favorites and unique options. Everyone in our group loved their food. The highlight of the night? My grandmother—who is *not* easily impressed when it comes to meat (she was raised by a butcher!)—said the Wagyu beef burger was the best she’s had in a long time. The owner, Sam, even stopped by our table to check in and ended up chatting with her for a while about the building and how he had recently purchased the business from the original owner Allyn. He was incredibly friendly, and the personal touch made the experience even better. When we left, my grandma couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was and how she can’t wait to go back. That says *everything*. Looking forward to my next visit!

One of my favorite spots in the city. Good Cajun food and an excellent vegetarian/vegan selection. Decent draft beer list. Makes their own hot sauces. Great service in general.

5 stars all the way!! I had their gater and it was so delicious!! I couldn't get enough of the Mac&Cheese. I have crazy allergies and dietary requirements and they were able to work with me. Great place. Truly this is a must visit!

This is one of the most accommodating restaurants for vegetarians or vegans! I had pasta with pumfu for the first time, and it was delicious. Everything I sampled on my family's plate was also delicious. We will be back.
